Dakota Haines - Head Coach Southmoore Baseball 2018 – Present

A history teacher at Southmoore High School since 2018, Coach Dakota Haines is a graduate of Harrah High School. Coach Haines continued his academic study and paying career at Coffeyville Community College, Benedictine College, and Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Haines began his coach coaching career at Southwestern Oklahoma State University as an assistant infield coach. Prior to taking the helm at Southmoore, Haines spent five years as an assistance coach at Yukon High School for both baseball and softball.
Coach Haines and his beautiful wife Kendall, wed in December 2016.

Austin Stewart - Asst. Coach Southmoore Baseball 2018 – Present

Born and Raised in Dallas Texas, Coach Austin Stewart graduated from Rockwall-Heath High School in 2012. Austin went on to play baseball at Murray State College, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, and the University of Central Oklahoma where he graduated with a B.A. in Science. Austin made his home in Moore when he married his wonderful wife Kaley in January of 2017. Coach “Stew” is pursuing his Oklahoma Teachers Certification and looks forward to being a teacher/coach in the fall of 2019. Prior to joining Southmoore, Austin coached various 16u travel teams, but this is Austin’s first opportunity to coach at the High School level. Austin is excited to be part of building the Southmoore baseball program and is dedicated to ensuring student athletes achieve success in the classroom and on the field.
